Section 117(6)(b) of the Maritime Area Planning Act 2021 sets out the statutory provisions whereby MARA requires the Applicant to give the public ‘relevant notice’ regarding the MUL application.
The note published today is intended to assist Maritime Usage Licence Applicants in this public consultation aspect of the application process.
The note outlines specific requirements of the public consultation process and also provides useful tools including a template notice and a checklist to assist applicants.
