Updated Applications Forms and associated Guidance Notes

MARA the Maritime Area Regulatory Authority has today (25th July 2025) announced that it intends to publish updated Application Forms and associated Guidance Notes for Maritime Area Consent (MAC) and Maritime Usage Licence (MUL) applications in early August 2025.

These updated documents aim to provide a clear and more user-friendly format to assist applicants to submit a full and complete application. This is anticipated to reduce the issuance of further information requests; promote efficiencies in application processing and provide associated cost/resource savings to both the applicant and MARA.

The updated documents will be published on the MARA website www.maritimeregulator.ie
